We love books! Books can take you anywhere and teach you anything you want to know. Books can take you to lands far away, both real and fantasy. A book can make you feel like you are standing at the base of an Egyptian pyramid or sailing the seas with Captain Hook. Books can teach you how to cook, how to sew or how to change your oil.

The point is that books are a gift because of what they can teach us. But there is one book that surpasses them all. It has everything: poetry, wisdom, adventure, knowledge, history, amazing true stories about people, both young and old, that will change you forever. This book teaches us the best things! Yes, it is the Bible!

The bottom line is this: The bible teaches us the BEST THINGS, and we want our preschoolers to know that it teaches THEM the best things, too!

Our Bible verse this month is:
“Your word is truth” (John 17:17 NIrV)
